Oroku Saki, better known as Shredder, is the main antagonist of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. A master of ninjutsu, he leads the Foot Clan, a criminal organization that plagues New York City. He is often portrayed as a ruthless and power-hungry villain, driven by a desire for revenge against Splinter and the Turtles.
Shredder's first appearance was in the *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles* animated series, a cartoon. He is frequently depicted in media as clad in bladed armor that strikes fear and intimidation, his signature weapon which contributed to his name. His goal is world domination, and is the constant nemesis of the turtles, both in their childhoods and continuing forward.
